Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Mntra Android application (the “App”) provided by devls (the “developer”, “we”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. License

The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the decks, cards, audio, and images you create or import. The App stores them on your device. The developer does not claim any ownership over your content and does not access it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

Violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App other than as permitted by mandatory law.
Use the optional AI features in a way that violates the chosen AI provider's terms (for example, generating disallowed content via your provider account).
Transmit, share, or import content that is illegal where you are using the App.

4. Optional AI features (Bring Your Own Key)

The App can connect to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) using your own API key that you supply. When you enable these features:

You alone are responsible for your contract with that provider, including any fees, quotas, or content policies.
The text or images you choose to send are transmitted directly from your device to the provider over HTTPS. The developer does not run a server that sees your traffic.
Outputs are produced by the provider's model. We make no guarantee that they are accurate, complete, fit for purpose, or appropriate for any particular use.
You agree to comply with the chosen provider's Terms of Service when using their model through the App.

5. No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The App may have bugs, may go offline, or may be discontinued at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. This limitation does not affect mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you under your local law (for example, statutory rights for EU consumers under directives such as 2019/771).

7. Crash reporting

The App sends anonymous crash reports to Sentry as described in the Privacy Policy. You agree to this transmission as a condition of installing the App. No card content or API keys are included in crash reports.

8. Updates

The App is distributed via Google Play. Updates may be installed automatically per your device's Play Store settings. We are not obligated to provide updates or continued support.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The developer may discontinue the App or remove access without notice. Sections 2, 5, 6, and 10 survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL with the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App through an updated link or, where required by law, by additional notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Contact: support@devls.tech
